Yes, Pereskia grandiflora, called the rose-cactus or wax rose. It'll grow 6 to 15 feet tall.

Cindy,
I have one in a large pot that I got a few months ago...it has been blooming ever since. Sometimes just one bloom and then sometime three or four. It's a neat plant for a pot but mine is getting awfully big pretty quickly, so it may have to go in the ground.
BTW, I am in the Meadows in a single family home (on a secluded lot so I can plant whatever I want!). Where are you?
Hester

Thank you Hester.I'm on the west side of the trail in south Sarasota, almost in Osprey.

has to stay in a pot here, but how big of a pot....it's getting huge! four foot spike coming out the center, thorns and all. i've read where it is good down to low thirties. keep cutting on it so i have lots for next spring, roots really easy!
