Please identify - yellow plant, blooming now

I've seen these along the roadside and last year some popped up in my garden. The plant is about 2 1/2' tall and the blossoms at least an inch across. Anyone know what they are?

Looks a bit like Turnera ulmifolia (cuban buttercup). I think they become a bit invasive but I have them in my yard...if they return this year.

Gee, one of my other welcome volunteers is a Philippine Violet. Guess I'm growing an accidental international garden! Thanks for the info!
