Cauliflower

| I have been unable to get my cauliflower to get heads on them. I planted them the same time I did my broccoli and have eaten it and also eaten little side shoots. What can be wrong? |

| I'm trying to find a down side to not getting cauliflower to grow. Hmmmm, there isn't one. |

| I'm having the same problem. I don't know if it's the hot/cold temps or the drought. |

| Cauliflower was maybe my most successful crop last winter. That's good because I like it raw, pickled, steamed or whatever. The last greens are also my favorite greens, better than collards or broccoli. john |

| I had never grown cauliflower until this year. I didn't realize the plant got so big. It seemed like they were taking forever to head too but finally they did. I have just a little bit left for tomorrow and it'll be gone. Due to not having much space and it taking so much space and time, I may not grow anymore. Nay, never say never, it's too good.

| I had a great crop last year. If it's not the weather, I'm thinking fresh seeds next year. |

| Mine took forever to put on heads. Like nearly four months. After three months, I started to think they were really collards and was eating the leaves on some of the plants. Then they finally formed heads. I am on the fence with whether I will plant them again next year. I am going to try and find an earlier variety. I guess it is encouraging to hear other people had better luck. Maybe it was the warm winter. |
