I'm brand new to gardening. My grandmother had a green thumb but I've killed everything I've ever touched. I really want this though, and could use advice from the breaking of ground to whatever the end is lol. I want a flower garden and a Veggie. Welcome there are a lot of great gardeners here that can answer your questions. So don't be afraid to ask there a great bunch with a lot of experience.

Idgtaylor get on you tube and look up permacultar,composting,no till gardening,also get a planting schedule from university of Florida. You can find links to that on this forum. Go through the forum and read there is a crazy amount of information on it. Find out what zone your in. Good luck.

A lot of so-called garden clubs don't talk about gardening very much...some do. I was in one that talked ecology, cooking, setting tables, making flower arrangements, planning for garden tours, making money just to give an example.

Now I think the best garden club is the Central Florida Succulent and Cactus Society in Tampa. But if you want to grow vegetables you are out of luck!
