| We are considering Arbequina Olive tree. This is Olea europaea black olive tree.
We live in zone 9b The Territorial catalog lists it is good for our zone. Does anyone have one of these in their yard? Wondering how well it did for you. Thanks |

| I have two Arbequina Olive trees among my other olive tree varieties here in West Central (Nature Coast) zone 9A. Olive trees grow very well in zone-9. The trees flush out each year with hundreds of olives and I have had olives on my trees three years after planting them. Lou |

| Thanks Lou I appreciate your reply. Do you cure your olives for oil, di they ripen for eating? johnjsr,SPAM led me to a store or business |

| I have 2 Bucida buceras, no fruits but quite nice. |
|
| LOL, the link I sent you was to a business that among other things, grows and sells and plants groves of Arbequina Olive trees in this area. Not spam. |

| johnjsr, Sorry but with no other text (intro as to why you posted only a business name) other than a store link, what was I supposed to think? So much Spam online it is hard to escape it! Some sites give money to those who refer them to their site. It is a fact that the internet is slowly invading everywhere we visit online. chellamaral, The olive tree I am thinking of getting does produce edible fruit that can be cured or pressed for oil. |

| Mary, I grow the olives for the oil to make bio-diesel fuel to run my diesel powered vehicles.(car, tractor, generator, & ranch-ATV). I don't grow the olives for eating. Lou |
