Headed out there, even though I should be pulling weeds or doing laundry. Oh well, I need more plants!

I spent most of the day at the Leu Gardens plant sale with some friends. We all had a good time and it was a lovely day. :)

I am back after 2 days spending at the Leu, I was looking for Tom, Dawn, Christine or anybody from the Florida forum and I didn't see anybody. We were probably all busy looking at the plants...Beautiful days and we took a walk around the Leu gardens, it is always a treat!. Like all the flowers outside the veggie garden.

As always I enjoyed the gardens and purchased a number of plants. I'm having back problems, so I couldn't go back and get some plants that I now wished I had purchased the first time through.

Oh, well, I really have a lot of plants. What I need to do is start some cuttings...

I would have loved to say hello, at one point you could have found me sipping fresh squeezed lemonade. Sounds like everyone had a good day!

Oh, Silvia, can't believe that we didn't bump into each other. I agree with your comment about the flowers near the veggie garden. The nasturtiums were eye catching.

Hi from your occasional SC poster. I went to the sale at Leu Gardens this past weekend. WOW. I had also come down for the February plant sale in Vero Beach. Even though some of the vendors do both shows, they had distinctly different plants. I plan on attending both next year again. This time I found a hardy olive tree and some wonderful large birds nest ferns. I also broke down and purchased a bottle palm at a Lowes. I had seen these on my February trip and after researching it, decided it was worth having to schlep it inside for a few months each year.

Had a lovely visit with a woman and her son while eating lunch under the trees. She mentioned another plant show in the fall in Apopka. I may have to check that out if it's like these other 2 fabulous days I spent this spring in your state!
