Sarasota nurseries

My family will be spending part of spring break in Sarasota and we were wondering if anyone could suggest some good nurseries in the county that we could visit. Maybe for one for native plants and one for tropicals?

Hibbs on Beneva has healthy plants, although a bit pricey - same for Big Earth on Bee Ridge just east of 75.
Albritton's and Troy's Tropics are close together off Proctor.

My favorite place to go to in Sarasota is Tropiflora Nursery on Tallevast Rd. They have an amazing collection of bromeliads and other tropical plants.

Selby Gardens is always fun. They don't sell very much but their orchid greenhouse is wonderful and it's fun just walking on the grounds and seeing all the various plants. If you see a plant that you like there, chances are that Tropiflora will have it.
