So happy to be back on Gardenweb!

I am back in business! For those who remember me, I had a small farm in DeLeon Springs. My mom is happy-fl-gardner. Three years ago, I had to let go of my little paradise and I have done very little gardening since. I have settled into a happy home on a typical 1/4 acre lot. My ambitions have always led me to be as self-sufficient as possible and I decided to take on a whole new kind of gardening. Containers! I chose this because of my small space and I want to maximize my growth potential. Not only am I gardening again, but also raising quail for eggs and meat(I can't have chickens where I am). I just took a try at vermiposting with redworms and recently killed them all. I am using earth boxes for most of my plants. Today, I have designed my own self watering pots. I'll try to post pics.

Silvia! I have to admit, I have been lurking a little over the past year and I have been watching for your posts. Your garden is as spectacular as always. I heard you have a greenhouse now. My mom sings praises about you and boasts about how well your tomato buckets work. I hope my containers work as well for me.

Thank you Miranda, the greenhouse is good for some tropical fruit trees that I have and the containers work great for the tomatoes and after they are done I recycle the soil in the garden beds. If you can you should come to the garden party, it will be great to see you again...
