what kind of soil/potting mix are they planted in? I like to use Fafard 3B...or a good soilless mix from the box store. With Fafard you have to add a time released fertilizer and use monthly water soluble fertilizer. If you use something from the box store I'd add a little perlite because those soils can be a little heavy for hoyas...IMO.

They can grow in full sun but they will wash out. Bright filtered light is best.

Hoyas like to be kept in a small container with a little drier conditions and as laura1 said a little shade is best.
