I live in Panama City, Fl. and have planted paperwhites in my yard and in pots - they come up fine, but never have bloomed. Daffodils do wonderfully here, but not paperwhites.

I would love to have Paperwhites too, Love. If I ever get the nerve, I'll use pots... and winter them over by hand.

Normally I'd say it's not worth it, but in the case of Paperwhites, I suspect it ~would~ be.

Got some paperwhites as a gift several years ago and they grow like weeds but refuse to flower lol lots of types of plants do this in 10 Very frustrating lol gary

When I lived just a mile from my present home, the paperwhites bloomed every December. The ones I planted two years ago at this house have grown but never bloomed. Go figure.
