jasmine sambac stem clipping propagation

Last December I visited one of our friends in NJ and they have a jasmine sambac plant that is 20years old in 18gallon container. The flower are regular jasmine sambac look with long stem. The fragrance in standard sambac but much stronger. Seems like some kind of original species than all the hybrid varieties we are getting these days. I took a stem clipping and potted that in a 2 inch pot and have the pot in 2gallon ziploc bag on Jan 4th.

Last month I saw new growth and it seems to get bigger now. I also noticed budding with new growth. I am not sure if the pot is ready to be moved out of humidity bag because as soon as I take the pot out after 2hrs or so the new growth seems to wither fully. I immediately placed the pot back in ziploc bag and the life came back into new growth within 10mts. When would be the right time to take the pot out of the humidity bag?
