I really want to study this to see how valid it is to help make decisions where to move (final downsizing).
We are a block from the river and 11 miles from the ocean. As a result we get a lot milder weather than folks just 4 miles from here. I spoke to a friend who lives not far from us. We said her bird bath had a layer of ice, ours never froze. We never had a freeze this year, but usually get 1-3 freezes.
Our area is full of micro climates.

Thanks Carol...it is a pretty cool website. The only thing I wish they were a little more accurate for my zipcode... I noticed they have the average date for my last frost date as Feb. 1-10...gosh knows for the last 7 years I've lived here...I'm usually not out of the woods till the first week of March. I've always had frost or freeze till at least the end of February or first week of March.
