Yes Juan, I have grown canteloupes in a big container that I placed next to a hog-wire fence - and the vines can be trained to grow up instead of on the ground. Hang the big heavy melons from the fence with something stretchy like an old T-shirt (I used to use pantyhose) and they stay clean - if you can keep bugs off the leaves.
