First, stop watering for now. It just increases the weeds. Then Weed and Feed. Do it yourself or hire a service, it's cheap to get done in south Florida. And be patient, it's a process but eventually you'll get a nice yard. Once the weeds are gone, you may need to put sod into bare spots.

mow the grass very frequently. I disagree about the watering. this time of year frequent water will help the grass overcome the weeds. of course the water Nazis won't let us do that anymore.

15 minutes of watering isn't nearly long enough. That just promotes surface roots and you want deep roots. 45 minutes to an hour per zone. 3/4 of an inch twice a week. Spray with atrizine and be patient. It takes 3-4 weeks for it to work and do it now. It is not very effective on mature weeds.

It doesn't look like you actually have any "grass", just weeds. Here in S. Florida we say "If it's green mow it. That's your lawn." Unless you have hundreds of dollars a month to spend, you will never have a perfect lawn in S. Florida.

Scotts Lawn Service, as one example, will give your lawn everything it needs for $36 a month. I use them and my lawn looks great.
