rather unusual coloration for dieffenbachia - cannot locate any images on the web that are similar.
looks a bit like strelitzia, but growth habit (stalks/stem) is different. and the cane is exactly like dieffenbachia.
not a banana either. looked thru all calatheas i could find - big ones that is. but they don't have a tall cane.
the cane on these is at least 2' off the ground.
the leaves are about 3.5' long and 10" wide.
the yellow variegation seems 'real' not from some nutrient deficiency.
i am stumped.
any ideas?
