Anyone tried this? My father had a nursery send me a small tree. I've read they like cool wet winters and dry summers, so I'm not sure it will fruit here, but the flowers look pretty in pictures. I also read that there was a commercial pomegranate industry in Florida in the 1800s, but that wouldn't have been down here, since there wasn't much of anything down here in the 1800s.
But heck, it's already here so I might as well dig a hole and see what happens.
Any advice? Any idea if the 15-foot mature height is true here? Is it pretty enough in flower to put it in the front yard (I'm running out of back yard.)
