Calling native wildflower lovers for a plant i.d.

Today I saw a grass I don't recognize. It was growing with the bog buttons in an area that is usually wet most of the summer, so I'm assuming it's a bog grass. The grass itself if short, about 2-3 inches high. The flowers are a cloud of tiny pink blooms that look like unopened buds. Very wispy. They only stand about 4-6 inches tall.

Does anyone have a clue what this could be? I did not have my camera with me, and don't know when I will get back there. My native plant books are packed away in anticipation of a move, and I've looked online, but can find nothing like it.
