OK! Sounds like you have a brush fire some where.

Smoke down to us south of Tampa Bay this morning. I'll be spending the day in the house (gasp, gasp). First time I've had to hit the albuterol this year.

Hope we get some rain soon and best wishes to those out in the THICK of it (residents and firefighters).

Oh yeah - woke up to 'that smell' this morning - def. NOT a BBQ or fireplace!

Warnings for 'sensitive groups' - red flag warning as well....

There is also a large brush fire in Hobe Sound.

There's been plenty of smoke up in Ocala where I work. I've also smelled some smoke in Inverness where I live but haven't seen any smoke there. I know that there's a few muck fires somewhere in the Ocala forest so the smoke won't be going away until we get some nice heavy rain. It's bad timing for me as I'm just getting over an upper respiratory infection and have mild asthma.
