This is an awful picture - but I have kiwi that grow around my pool pump. They have been there for at least four years. Never a flower, never a fruit - but they are pretty healthy. No pests. They get a little wilted in the dead of summer but otherwise they do well there.

If you want fruit I may suggest being VERY careful about the type of kiwi you get. These were big box rescues. You don't always come out on top with those. Then again considering that I was looking to hide an obnoxious pool pump and not pay much to do so.... I guess I got what I paid for! It just would have been nice for them to have been what they were marked. LOL.

Thanks, Barbie. Do you water and fertilize them? Is it a male and female?

3 females and 1 male. Yes they get watered regularly and here they are only 2 years old. I do not fertilize 3 times a year like they prefer, but this year I will as they are now old enough to be flowering and setting fruit. Becaue they have never flowered I don't have much hope. I am thinking they require much more chilling hours than they will ever recieve here. :-(

The plants look healthy, so maybe they need to mature a bit more to produce. Keeping my fingers crossed for you. :o)
