I am seeking a tall privacy hedge within South FL that is white fly resistant, grows quickly, not too wide and nice looking. Any ideas?

Virtually everyone here uses cherry hedges. My back neighbor has one 10' tall.

When I lived in Broward county,I planted Areca palms 3ft apart along my fence line.It made a very attractive & private hedge in just two years.I would cut back the tallest "canes" maybe twice a year. They are drought tolerant & can take the odd cold night also.

I've always thought podocarpus hedges are some of the nicest looking, but they are expensive.

I've had good luck with viburnum. Can grow it tall, or keep it trimmed, grows thick for privacy, cold and bug-resistant (I've never had to spray it).
