We are taking down our lemon eucalyptus in a few weeks since it is so very, very messy. I am looking to replace it with something else but my specifications may be too much. I would like something that will eventually provide some shade, it cannot be messy since it's fairly close to the pool and it cannot have a huge root system (again b/c of the pool) I was kind of thinking some sort of palm but they also have all those berries which might not work with the brom plantings I have in that spot. I am stumped, if you have any good resources let me know, or any suggestions.
