My daughter lives in Port St. Lucie and asked for advice in landscaping her front yard. Her house faces north so she has a mixed light area near the front door ( shade in winter, sun in summer). It would look very nice if she could put a tall plant on both sides of her door, but what would look good? I thought a Plumeria Pudica would be good because it would stay fairly narrow. I also though a Brunfelsia Grandiflora would look nice because it would tolerate the shade. I have a Lady of the Night that is blooming near my door and it looks beautiful and smells awesome at night but I think she is too far north for that do well for her. I would appreciate any suggestions you can give me.
