Ha, I saw that very same sight over the weekend. I was horrified, right in my yard where kids could see!

I saw a few couples in Jacksonville 10 days - 2 weeks ago, and then they disappeared entirely. I'm afraid I should never have told my exterminator about the giant ant farm I had accidentally cultivated along with my veggies. I'm hoping the ladies (& gents, apparently) left of their own accord after mating, but I have a bad feeling my desire to eliminate the massive ant colony may be at fault.
