A half diseased plant . . . . need id and possible solution

Hi Everyone,

Please help to id this plant. This hedge is in front of my house under the eaves. In the front half of the bush, looks diseased like these pictures. The back half of the bush is the rich green it once was and seems unaffected.

Oddly, while out getting used coffee grind at Starbucks I noticed Starbucks has the same bush/hedge and theirs are all impacted.

First, what is it and Second, what can I do to turn this around. The front half of the bush is losing leaves the back half of the bush is full and healthy.

I believe your plant is Indian Hawthorn (rhaphiolepis indica). The diseased leaves have entomosporium leaf spot, a fungus. You can google and find numerous sites with info.

Thank you so much! Mystery solved - I think. In the three years the hedge has been in front of our house, we have never seen the showy flowers that are characteristic of this type of hedge.
