I attached some air plants to an old birdcage, I used little dragonfly hairclips to attach them. For some reason, it will only post this picture sideways!

Love it! We have quite a few cages hanging around the yard with everything from orchids to succulents. Looks great! If you put a coco fiber in the bottom you can plant. Crab traps and fish baskets add a bit of variety!

Now, if that were a Bird of Paradise in the pot...

Granted, I think a Bird of Paradise would get too big for that cage, but still...

A very interesting and creative look though. If I ever have a spare bird cage laying around, not likely, I might have to do something like this. Kudos.

Thanks for editing. We just got a new computer, I was having technical difficulties. I was inspired by reading about the lobster traps-for sure.
