Garden update-photos

I think my last update was around the 19th, but the garden is growong like crazy, so I wanted to post more pics. I realy went nuts with the squash, apparently. The seminole pumpkin hasn't made any female flowers yet. My spagetti squash have fruits, so do the butternut, and the acorn squash. I don't expect to get anything from the carving pumpkin, but I thought -what the heck? My daughter wanted me to grow her a jack-o-lantern. The kidney beans are being overrun by the cucuzzi gourd(none of those fruits yet, either) My summer and zucchini squash are suffering from mildew(in a different garden). The zukes seem to be faring better than the summer squash.

I had to mow around these vines.

pumpkin blossom, I think. It could be a gourd, if they have white blossoms. I'm not realy sure.

Yeah, Miranda the squash vines have really grown recently. I'm glad that the heavy rains didn't bother them. Your eggplants really are farther along than mine. Looks like you have more sunflowers growing. Good job.

What a terrific garden. And I mean that in every sense of the word. Thanks for showing the pictures of your lush veggies and plants. I swear, someday I'm going to try growing some. I have ONE cherry tomato in a washtub with some onions and thyme...that's my foray into edibles! Hahaha. Well, other than my fennel, which is about 6 feet tall and 6 feet wide. But I don't eat it...I leave it for the swallowtails.
