That's it. Each one of those fuzzy balls will eventually open at night. Bloom is a magnificent eight or more inches across , brilliant white and yellow. Will be out there tonight!!!!! Seems to be very cold hardy, been climbing that oak for many years, goes up at least thirty or more foot .

That is truly gorgeous! Just one more plant that you've shown us pictures of that has made it onto my plant wish list. I really do need to visit you just to see your garden in it's entirety!

Mine is a night blooming cereus. This is blooms from last year. It blooms July and August the cactus depending on big rains to bloom.

Looks like a dragon fruit/pitaya(Hylocereus undatus). Does it bear a red fruit with white or red flesh?
