Very unusual and pretty. Too bad about the wicked spiny. I try to stay away from those.

I've found that the spiny broms tend to handle cold better then the smooth edged ones so there's an upside to all those spines!

Where do you get your bromeliads? This is the second one you've posted a picture of that I wouldn't mind having.
