Correction - I got it wrong, common name is JAPANESE Lantern hibiscus - sorry for thatâ¦.

Mine is still in a pot, too as I'm running out of space in the yard. I've had a couple of blooms and even managed to take a cutting that has rooted!
Puglvr - I don't see them at box stores. I found mine at the Tropiflora sale last fall from a vendor from the east coast whose name I don't remember!
It's a grand plant.

I have one that I've had for years, don't remember where I got it either. I need to try some cuttings from it.

It's a neat plant. I just did a quick google search and it is a Hibiscus schizopetalus Family: Malvaceae called ~ Coral Hibiscus, Skeleton Hibiscus, Chinese Lantern, Japanese Lantern, Fringed Hibiscus
