Salvia Survivors

I've been looking and trying to find seeds for Florida-friendly salvias that can endure our summers. My preferred site for purchasing seeds lists the cold-hardiness of their perennial salvias, but doesn't list their heat/sun-hardiness.

I currently have the Tropical Salvia, S. coccinea, which is one of the native ones and they make for rather nice mounds of red spires. But I would like to add some blue and purple as well. Unfortunately, my yard is sans-shade for the most part so whatever Salvias I plant have to be able to withstand our heat and sun with as little extra watering as possible.

And yes, I know I could go to the big box stores or even a nursery and buy plants from them, but I'm really enjoying growing my own plants from seed.
