I have some jatropha growing as a hedge in front of a bathroom window. Ideally this hedge would be 4 feet tall and thick. My problem is that when I cut the jatropha back, it likes to bud out from only one bud instead of many buds. Therefore it never gets the bushiness I'm looking for. Does anyone have any tips/tricks for making it bud out? Thanks!
