This morning in my yard was the county ag agent and a PHD and his assistant from the state of Florida department of agriculture. Their focus is on the spiral white fly. They are working on a remedy for this very nasty and destructive bug.
Because I've been affected and resolved the issue with systemics, I am the test yard profile they want. In a month they will place "banker" plants, a variety of plants on the bugs menu, and add Encarsia, a tiny parasitic wasp that eats white fly. It is suppose to populate my yard and keep the bug out. They want a non infested or infested and cleaned yard. They think this bug can defend a yard but not clean an infested yard. I hope it works.
