I don't have any info to offer but am looking for the same. Have some decent bulbs but a lot of mine are pretty small. I chilled some for four weeks before planting and these seem to have generally made the biggest bulbs. Not sure how to harvest and dry though.

Cure the garlic heads like you would onions. The preferred temperature is in the 70's so that they don't dry to fast, but that's a little hard to do here unless you have lots of indoor space to spread them out. They should be single layer and protected from rain and sun. Open covered patios and carports work well. A garage will do. Drying them indoors will give you and your house a nice garlicky smell. Some cut the tops down(not all the way) and some don't. Roots should be trimmed after they are dry. I can't find much discussion of curing the single clove ones. I am thinking they need to be pickled or sliced and dehydrated.

I chilled my seed this year for 3 weeks and have yet to dig up a genuine head. I have found research that points to 6 to 8 weeks of chill at 35 to 50 degrees. It is possible for the seed to loose vernalization if ground temperature at planting is high. The longer the chill, the less chance to loose vernalization.
