It is very tricky and timing is everything. I have never done it but I have read that it is not always easy to have everything you need at the same time.. I believe what is in your picture is only half of what you need - I think that is the inflorescence. Pollen must be introduced to the pistils in the inflorescence in order to form seeds. And that's about the extent of what I know (and even that may be wrong). Please see the link below for more information. Let us know how it goes and if you have babies!
