Sounds a lot like armyworms - many, if not most other caterpillars arrive a few @ a time

Amazing! No cutworms yet on the tomatoes, but those buggers instead. I hope the Natria worked. They were at the base of the plants. The hardest place for me to spray. I has post-op today for my shoulder surgery, so I couldn't get out to the garden at all. After tomorrow it will be my hubby's duty. Not looking forward to that! He's a good gardener, but he has alot of other things to do instead. I hope I heal up quickly. Not even sure if I can make it outside. We only have a railing on the right side for the steps.

I don't think any of the Natria products are labeled for caterpillars.

Yes, it is. It is listed on the label. I killed 4 horn worms today. they finally found me and one inch worm. I meant horn worms, not cut worms in my previous post.
