I just discovered a bunch of orange fuzzy caterpillars on my crape myrtle. I couldn't find anything online. Does anyone know what this might be?

I can't tell if yours have this red stripe along the sides (it could be very faint); if it does, it's an Io moth caterpillar. Still stings!

If you get stung put a compress soaked in ammonia on it. It will take the sting and itch out of most everything, including fire ant bites to wasp stings. The ammonia counter acts the venmon. :o)
