Royal Palm Beach/Acreage

Hi, just moved to this area and started working here in Royal Palm Beach. Currently renting an Apartment and enjoying the area. Not sure when Ill find that house with an acre that I dream of to garden. Wondering if anyone knows of any community garden type projects or the likes so I can get my gardening fix and meet others who like to grow their own food, tropical crops etc...

Meanwhile Ive been drinking and eating coconuts daily that I can get down from the trees.

I read in the paper today about a pretty amazing effort undertaken by the Boy Scouts to operate a community garden. They're learning a thing or two about growing in Fl with lots of good advice. See www.troop180wpb.org.
