Finally flowered last year but was not red sort of a yellowish brown lol Grows into a tree is spring deciduous very open top but very twiggy took 12 years to flower and worst of all is not red lol Have some seedlings sprouti ng in compost bed if interested??? gary

saw one of these in full flower at Fairchild and had to have one lol. Should have been more careful with seed selection as most are not red lol
Does serve as a "canopy tree produces very lacy shade
growing amazon lily, several calatheas and phals ,brassidiums for the branches .
Hasn't been too messy or seed excesssively like most cassia. at least so far lol
my neighbors thought the flowers were attractive but doesn't appeal to my "gaudy taste lol
Thought maybe someone might like a seedling they are very difficult to find . gary
