I'm new to gardening in a patio that isn't screened and am having a devil of a time with leaf miner. Are they exceptionally heavy this year (Orange Park) or is this a perpetual problem? Major problem in nasturtiums, present in ornamental sweet potatoes, zinnias (or course), thunbergia and annual salvia. Neem keeps them in check but must be sprayed regularly. My daughter lives about 15 mi south of me and she even has them on WILD everglades tomatoes.
