something obvious about spraying tomatoes, peppers, and cukes...

ive never been much of a insecticide user and i never use anything but organic, cheap sprays, and then only inconstantly. this year i bought myself a great new sprayer and vowed to spray every day, and i've stuck to the regime--a mix of insectidical soap, neem, and BT. every once and a while i spray some copper, too.

for the first time ever, my vines are still really healthy and producing (even full-sized tomatoes, but mostly smaller-bodied) and not a single stink bug or pickle worm out there. i still have some fungal issues, but, hey, it's florida.

so, there you go. if you spray thoroughly and regularly, it really works!
