My Musical Notes, Clerodendrum incisum, is in bloom. I took this picture last night.

I love this plant. Wish it did better at my house but it freezes back every year and is slow to return.

Mine freezes back each winter too but considering it's planted in the middle of the front flower bed I wouldn't want the plant to get too big! I really had no idea what it's growing requirements were when I bought it, just fell in love with it's flowers while at a plant sale and had to have it! Right now it's growing squashed between a firespike, large coleus, and butterfly bush.

Wow, that thing is beautiful! Have you been able to propagate it in any way?

I haven't tried to propgate it yet. It's actually rather hard to get to without stepping on a bunch of other plants.

I have a little one that is about 12 inches tall. I can't wait for it to bloom!!
