My neighbor's avocado tree was hanging over/on my fence and I just noticed today that my Dutchman's Pipevine has invaded the tree...all the way up. Is this a danger to the tree? I am in the process of pruning back my plants that have grown on my fence and will be cutting any connecting pieces of the vine. My concern is that it has already developed additional feeder lines and that it won't kill the vine in the tree. As I appreciate the avocados on my side of the fence and want to maintain good relations with my neighbors, please provide advice/info.
