| I have a secret gem of a Bromeliad hiding down by my propane tank. It's got lovely burgundy and red leaves, and it treated us to a surprise flowering a little while ago.
Any ideas what it is?

| We called it Lipstick because of the red tips on the leaves. It's very common in the yards of Vero Beach. It will send out babies at it's base. |

| I have that kind as well - it reproduced prolifically from just a few plants I salvaged @ our local brush site & now carpets a large area under my Live Oak. |
