Avocado tree ID help

Greetings! New to the forum and curious if anyone can help ID a type of avocado tree from the attached image. We just moved into a rental house in southern Broward Co. and the owner is unsure of the type. The diameter of the fruit is 3+ inches. I don't know if we have the timing incorrect but so far the taste is not what we were hoping. Any help would be appreciated.
Take care

Thank you for the response. Looks like you may be correct. The less than savory taste may have have been from picking too early. They are bigger now so may improve flavor once ripe.
