Germinating Geiger Tree seeds

palmcityfl

My large Geiger Tree is 20 years old and 15 feet tall with a 20 foot spread. Seeds (fruit?) are dropping and I'd like to propagate them. Geiger trees are expensive when found in a nursery, and none of the big box garden centers sell them (I'm a garden center manager for HD). The few native plant nurseries in Palm Beach county don't sell them, either. Has anyone germinated the seeds with success? I know that Geiger is probably not native, many sites states that it was brought to the Florida Keys by early settlers from the Caribbean. But my trees is covered in red blooms all year long and is a spectacular specimen.
