Purple Loropetalums are a love-hate situation for me. When the new growth occurs, when they are in bloom, or when cool temps emphsize the purple, I love them. The rest of the year, the purple color turns a peuky green and I hate that look. Only a few stay truly purple the whole year, so I want to plant one of those types. Can anyone tell me what the cultivar name is for the one(s) that will stay purple for the whole year? I know, it does not help when the nurseries act like they are all the same and will sell you whatever is in stock and tell you whatever you want to hear.
