That is lovely. Orchids are additive. Your DH did a wonderful job making that orchid basket for you. He could sell them. Lucky you having such a handy man. :o)

Sally, I got this orchid in Feb 2005 when it had only 4 or 5 leaves. It has been a faithful bloomer every August and has grown to be a very big plant. I just didn't want to divide it, so I let it get bigger and bigger, outgrowing the biggest wooden basket I could get at HD. I have another stanhopia that has never bloomed, and it has the same conditions at the S. wardii. So you never know if an orchid is going to bloom and be happy or just sit there.
