Hi everyone! We are ready to expand our garden and build some new raised beds. I was hoping someone would be willing to give us some layout advice. We have a variety of tomatoes and peppers started and will transplant when ready. We also wanted to grow beans and whatever else would do well in the fall. If you look at our yard, where would you put them? We just put the shed in and the swing set can be moved where ever. We have the 2 4x4 beds against the house but they can move too. I read that the beds should run east/west but we found that the plants closest to the house were shaded last time. If we build longer beds should we put them away from the house and run them east west? I also know now that they need to be deeper and we will fix that too.
