Places to buy tomato plants in Brevard Co.

Hello!

I'm going to start my first garden this fall. I plan on taking it slow and want to start off with some tomatoes and see how I do with those before adding on other fruits and veggies.

I was wondering if anyone has recommendations for places that sell tomato plants? I'd rather plant heirlooms vs. hybrids so a place that sells a variety of heirlooms would be a plus. I'm in Brevard, but willing to drive to the Orlando area if it's worth the trip.

Thanks in advance!

Not for nothing, but have you tried Home Depot or Lowes? Many of them still sell plants supplied by local growers, especially when it comes to vegetable plants.

Really? I'm in the Stuart area and I've never seen anything but Bonnie for veg the big box stores here.

Hi!
I haven't seen any from local growers at my Lowes or HD. Thanks for the suggestion though!

Try Ace Hardware in Merritt Island. They usually have FL suppliers and sell multiple plants at a reasonable price.
