| According to the chart, last year Pinellas had 450 chill hours. I knew it was cold. |

| Now I can officially give up hope of having kiwis and have a definite explanation for my garlic failure. My station reports 100 hours last year and I think it was even less than that in my part of the county. The station closest is Immokalee and that's an entirely different climate, considering I live on an 115 square mile peninsula sliced up by 400 miles of fresh/salt water canals.. |
